This committee consists of representatives from MAG member agencies and regional transportation agencies. The committee develops the prioritization of applicants to receive FTA Section 5310 capital assistance awards in the form of vehicles and related equipment to transport elderly individuals and persons with disabilities.

FY 2017 MAG Region Section 5310 Enhanced Mobility of Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities Program for the Phoenix-Mesa Urbanized Area Application Process

Federal Transit Administration (FTA) guidelines allow large urbanized areas to directly administer Section 5310 funds. The City of Phoenix Public Transit Department is now the Designated Recipient for the FTA Section 5310 Enhanced Mobility of Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities Transportation Program for the Phoenix-Mesa Urbanized Area (UZA). The Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) has assumed the programming responsibilities, and coordinates the Section 5310 application process in coordination with the City of Phoenix Public Transit Department.

Notice of 2017 FTA Section 5310 Applicants for the Phoenix-Mesa Urbanized Area

Notice is hereby given that the following organizations have applied for the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Fiscal Year 2017 Section 5310 Enhanced Mobility of Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities grant program for the Phoenix-Mesa Urbanized Area: A-Making Changes, Arizona Recreation Center for the Handicapped (ARCH), Arizona Spinal Cord Injury Association (AZSCIA), Benevilla, Chandler Gilbert Arc, City of Glendale, City of Phoenix, Civitan Foundation, Foothills Caring Corps, Goldensun, Gompers, Hacienda Healthcare, Horizon Health & Wellness, Independence Plus, Lifewell Behavioral Wellness, Marc Community Resources, Northern Arizona University: Civic Service Institute, Northwest Valley Connect, One Step Beyond, Tanner Community Development Corporation, The Centers for Habilitation (TCH), United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) of Central Arizona, Valley Metro, and VALLEYLIFE.
