Regional Transit Framework Study

MAG) initiated an update to its Regional Transit Framework Study, an effort that was completed in 2010. With changes in market conditions, development patterns, and rapid advancements in transportation technology and innovation, there was a need to facilitate a technical update to the study. The study update will identify, validate and prioritize future high-capacity transit investments through a data-driven, system-wide planning approach through the planning horizon of 2040. The study began in December 2016 and is expected to be completed in the summer of 2018.
