On the Move LogoFiscal Year (FY) 2017 Early Phase
Transportation Planning

The FY 2017 Early Phase input opportunity was conducted from August 1 to 31, 2016, and provided the public and stakeholders with an opportunity to provide feedback and input on the transportation planning and programming effort, as well as project suggestions in areas in which funding was available. All of the project suggestions received were forwarded to the appropriate MAG member agency for review and possible inclusion into a draft listing of projects that will eventually compose  the Draft FY 2018-2022 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) and the Draft 2040 Regional Transportation Plan (RTP).

All feedback received during the FY 2017 Early Phase was compiled into the FY 2017 MAG Early Phase Input Opportunity Report. The report is presented to policymakers for review and consideration during the MAG transportation planning and programming process, to provide public input prior to committee action.

The end of the FY 2017 Early Phase initiates MAG's Continuous Involvement Phase, which extends from September 2016 to February 2017. During this phase, MAG seeks public input and comment beyond the three structured phases.  Please feel free to email your comments to Leila Gamiz at this link at this link. Additionally, individuals have the option of completing the Online Public Comment Form also located below this section. Finally, public comment is encouraged at MAG public meetings.

MAG wants to hear from you! MAG periodically holds public meetings, workshops and other opportunities for you to share your vision for our transportation future and other MAG program areas.

Your input will be provided to decision makers to assist them in developing plans that best meet the needs of residents and the region. For more information, contact a member of our public involvement staff at (602) 254-6300. Look below for a list of upcoming meeting dates and downloadable files.
