Access Management Publications
Extensive research has been conducted on access management for several decades, and numerous resources are available to transportation and land use planners as well as the general public and agency staff. The well-established body of research demonstrates that implementing access management on roadway networks provides a cost-effective means for supporting the mobility, safety, environmental, and preservation goals that are established in transportation plans at the state, metropolitan, and local levels.
