Annual Report

It’s easy to want to forget the past year. MAG's focus on community collaboration in the midst of a world pandemic ensures we will stay strong and keep improving the quality of life for the region. While the pandemic forced us to narrow our focus to the highest priorities for our region, 2020 had many moments worth celebrating. We marked a major milestone with the opening of the Loop 202 South Mountain Freeway, also known as the Congressman Ed Pastor Freeway, helped connect people experiencing homelessness to resources, saw continued improvement in the region's air quality, and began a major effort to develop a new regional transportation plan. These and many more achievements are highlighted in MAG's 2020 Annual Report, now available online. The theme—2020 Vision: A Sharper View—takes on new relevance in the light of the many changes that the COVID-19 outbreak has brought into our lives.
