PHOENIX (May 10, 2021) — What would you want if you could choose how you move around the Valley in the years ahead? It’s not a hypothetical question. Transportation planners are building a long-range transportation plan and they need Valley residents to be part of shaping the Valley’s transportation future. A number of virtual “Pick Your Path” live events are planned to give Valley residents an opportunity to engage with experts and discuss their priorities and ideas for transportation.
“We all want the freedom to get around quickly and safely, so we can spend more time doing the things that matter most, such as spending more time with family,” said MAG Chair Jerry Weiers, mayor of Glendale. “We want to know what makes the most difference to you. Faster travel times? More transit? More bike paths? Technology? That’s the input we need to make the best decisions for a plan that will impact transportation choices for decades to come.”
The Pick Your Path events are being hosted through MOMENTUM, a comprehensive effort to develop the next long-range regional transportation plan for the Valley that will guide transportation investments for the next 20 years and beyond. From May 10 - 24, the MOMENTUM team is inviting Valley residents to share their ideas and feedback at any of our upcoming virtual events. Here is the list of events and opportunities to share feedback:
