In 2017, the Phoenix MSA ranked 23rd out of 385 metropolitan areas in the United States for total exports, up from ranking 29th in 2010. The total value of Arizona’s exports in 2017 was $21 billion, and $13.2 billion for the Phoenix MSA. The top 3 countries Arizona and the Phoenix MSA exported to were Mexico, Canada, and China.
