The Arterial and Bridge Needs Assessment project was originally completed in 2019. It saw the compilation of various datasets ranging from travel demand to pavement condition. More information about the data platform can be found on the Arterial and Bridge Needs Assessment page.
To support the ongoing sustainability of the Arterial and Bridge Needs Assessment platform, datasets require consistent updates. MAG has recently undertaken an update of the arterial pavement condition layer. Data will be gathered from MAG’s member agencies and integrated into the platform to further inform the regional planning process with the most up-to-date data.
The Arterial Condition Layer Update project began on January 10, 2023. The data collection and review stage of the project will be completed by June 30, 2023. Integration into the data platform will be completed by 2024.
