Human Services and Community Initiatives Committee

The Human Services and Community Initiatives Committee (HSCIC) is primarily focused on incubating solutions that strengthen the region. This is driven by the development of a Regional Human Services Action Agenda. These activities focus on three main areas of data, tools, and policy. Data are presented that illustrate the demand for human services throughout the region. Tools are offered to better understand these needs and opportunities. Policy is assessed to determine what changes are recommended to improve the state of human services in the region. The MAG Human Services Technical Committee provides support. Community partners are engaged to lend additional support and to participate in the development of the agenda and event.
