Fiscal Year 2025 Regional Systems Management and Operations (SM&O) Plan Update

The Maricopa Association of Governments ("MAG") is requesting proposals from qualified consultants for the Fiscal Year 2025 Regional Systems Management and Operations (SM&O) Plan Update. The purpose of this Request for Proposals (“RFP”) is to solicit proposals from qualified consultants for the FY 2025 Regional Systems Management and Operations (SM&O) Plan Update. The Regional Strategic Transportation Infrastructure Investment Plan (RSTIIP) includes a significant amount of funding for Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) improvements. To prepare for the implementation of the RSTIIP, an update of the current Regional SM&O Plan, previously approved in 2018, is required to inform the development of these improvements and establish the framework for the new ITS program. The goal of this plan is to yield a Regional SM&O Plan that helps the MAG region make smart investments and recommendations for the short-term to long-term. These investments would support essential transportation technology/ITS infrastructure components. They would also add resources for the operation and management of critical elements of the region’s transportation system.
