January 12, 2005, 4:00 PM

The Transportation Policy Committee meeting scheduled for Wednesday, January 12, 2005, at 4:00 p.m., is being canceled to allow for new business appointments to be named by legislative leadership. The items on this month’s agenda will be carried forward to the next scheduled meeting on February 16, 2005. House Bill 2456 provides that the President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House shall each appoint three business representatives to the TPC. At this time, the business appointments to the Transportation Policy Committee have not been received. It would be more appropriate to hold a meeting after new business members are announced, allowing them adequate time to review the material before decisions are made. If you have any questions, please contact Dennis Smith or Eric Anderson at the MAG office.
