Joint Regional Transportation Plan Workshop for MAG Planners Stakeholders Group and Transportation Review CommitteeMAG Office, Second Floor, Saguaro Room 302 North 1st Avenue Ste., 200 Phoenix, AZ As part of the Regional Transportation Plan Process, the project consultant developed four regional growth scenarios to provide insights into future transportation needs in the region. These scenarios were presented to the Planner Stakeholders Group and input was provided. An analysis of the transportation impacts and implications of the four scenarios has now been drafted. The project consultant will briefly review the basic concepts behind each growth scenario and then provide an in depth presentation on the results of the transportation analysis.The purpose of this workshop is to gain the comments and insights of planners throughout the metro area. We are scheduling the workshop for two hours, and the presentation will take approximately one hour. We hope to gain significant direction from the ensuing discussion.Because of the importance of your comments, we ask that a planning staff member represent each MAG member agency.
