Population and Housing Estimates

Population and Housing Estimates

MAG works with the Arizona State Demographer’s Office annually to produce midyear estimates of resident population by municipal boundaries. These estimates are approved by the MAG Regional Council and are utilized for a number of state planning efforts. While Census estimates are released in May for the previous year, these estimates are released near the end of the same calendar year.
