Regional Transit Framework Study

Regional Transit Framework Study

MAG completed an update to its Regional Transit Framework Study with its key findings report accepted by the Regional Council on December 5, 2019. With changes in market conditions, development patterns, and rapid advancements in transportation technology and innovation, there was a need to facilitate a technical update to the study. The study identifies future corridors with the highest potential of supporting high-capacity transit using a data-driven, system-wide planning approach through the planning horizon of 2040.
