Study Description/Area

The study area of the Loop 303 Corridor Study comprises approximately 15 miles of Loop 303 between Interstate 10 and US 60 (Grand Avenue).

The purpose of this study is to evaluate existing and future travel conditions, identify opportunities for corridor improvements, and develop an implementation plan to serve as the basis for future studies and, ultimately, the design and construction of projects funded through the regional freeway program.

Study Objectives

The Loop 303 Corridor Study will:

  • Assess existing and future travel demands.
  • Identify recommendations made in previous studies.
  • Develop near- and long-term improvements to corridor safety and operations.
  • Prepare an implementation plan for recommended projects to serve travel demand.
  • Support existing and future development throughout the corridor.
