The above Street Committee meeting is canceled. The next proposed meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2006, at the MAG Office, Suite 200, Saguaro Room at 302 North First Avenue, Phoenix.In place of the Street Committee meeting, MAG staff will host an informal workshop to provide assistance to member agencies in utilizing the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) and Arterial Life Cycle Program (ALCP) data entry systems. These data entry systems are to be used for entering and updating project data for the FY 2007-2011 MAG TIP and ALCP. MAG staff will be available to answer questions concerning their use. All member agency staff involved with updating the TIP and/or the ALCP are invited to attend. Updated information to the TIP is due to MAG by Friday, January 13, 2006.The data entry systems were released by MAG in November, 2005. They are Microsoft Access 2000 computer applications and may be downloaded from the MAG website. They include separate applications for locally funded and ALCP projects to be included in the new TIP. At a minimum, the MAG TIP must include all regionally significant transportation projects and all projects funded from federal transportation sources (STP, CMAQ, NHS, IM, 5307, 5309, 5310, 5311, etc.).If you have any questions about the cancellation of the meeting or the TIP and ALCP data entry workshop, please contact Paul Ward or Stephen Tate at (602) 254-6300.
