These charts show the annual variation of crash occurrences, during the period from 2007 to 2022, on arterial and local road system in the MAG region.
Three groups of charts are provided for all arterial and local roads, based on where crashes occur. They are:
For each chart three buttons are provided to depict: a) All Crashes; b) Vehicle–Pedestrian Crashes; c) Vehicle–Bicycle Crashes
Total vehicle-pedestrian or vehicle-bicycle crashes are incidents involving at least one vehicle-pedestrian or one vehicle-bicyclist whereas injuries and fatalities are total number of persons injured or killed in those crashes.
Intersection crashes are defined as crashes that occur, on any approach, within 150 feet from center of the intersection.
Segment crashes are defined as those crashes that occur outside of the 150 foot range from all intersections.
