The Regional Analytics Division is responsible for gathering, maintaining, and analyzing regional and state datasets that support decision-making. These datasets are available to MAG member agencies and the public through a variety of reports and tools.

Datasets available from Regional Analytics include current Census Bureau data, analysis of the MAG Employer Database, long-range projections of population and employment, and data on imports and exports, parks and recreational activities, schools, land use, housing, and real estate sales.
